The challenge

The main challenge was balancing practical information with a more premium visual presentation. The website needed to feel refined and scenic without being overly decorative or difficult to use.

The key requirements included:

  • Golf course information and visitor details
  • Duck Inn Restaurant content and menu presentation
  • Wedding and function venue promotion
  • Membership information and enquiry pathways
  • Strong photography-led design
  • Mobile-friendly access for visitors on the move

Our approach

We designed and developed a custom WordPress website that positioned The Springs as a complete golf and hospitality destination. The visual direction focused on natural scenery, spacious layouts and strong photography, giving the website a calm and elevated feel.

The content structure was planned around the venue’s main services, with clear sections for golf, dining, weddings, events and membership. This gave each part of the business room to stand on its own while still feeling connected to the broader Springs brand.

Design system

The design system was built around a scenic, hospitality-focused feel. The site used generous spacing, large image areas and a restrained interface to let the course, restaurant and venue photography do most of the work.

The overall look was refined but approachable, with a balance between golf club tradition and relaxed regional hospitality.

A sense of place

The site used imagery and calm pacing to reinforce the venue’s natural bushland setting, helping The Springs feel like a destination rather than a purely functional club website.

Custom WordPress
Websites for
Restaurants
& Golf Clubs

Does your website make the venue feel inviting before people arrive?

We design and build custom WordPress websites for restaurants, golf clubs, dining venues and leisure destinations that need to present their offering with polish and simplicity. From menus, bookings and opening hours to course information, memberships, events and private functions, the website should help visitors quickly understand what is available and feel confident making a booking or enquiry.

For venues with multiple parts to the business, a strong website needs to be both atmospheric and practical. We create flexible digital systems that make it easy to update seasonal menus, promotions, events, venue photography and key information, while giving the business a professional online presence that supports visits, bookings and repeat engagement.
